Kindiri

Kindiri is a small settlement located in the South of Chad. Like thousands of other villages in Africa, Kindiri is completely neglected by the Chadian government. The history, the custom and the psychology of my fellow villagers had been passed on through ancient and mystical ceremonies from the beginning of its existence to this present time. Till today, there is neither running water nor electricity. Despite the advanced level of technology of the 21st century, Kindiri’s population who is about five hundred souls still live under the fear of the “Invisible world” of the dead, the sorcerers and the diviners. In order to better educate the future generation of Kindiri, I decided to create a school in our village for our children
