MISSION STATEMENT

"GloCAP fosters creativity, compassion and cultural exchange in young hearts and minds; empowers underserved youth internationally through visual art and dance; and engages young people in crisis in healing artistic activities. "

CORE BELIEFS

"When young people engage with the arts they learn to use a universal language to explore emotions, process experiences and develop healthy practices.

When young people and their adults create robust artistic communities they inspire understanding, promote cultural exchange, invite celebration and build hope.

When artistic instruction is inclusive and designed around the tenets of social justice, all young people discover talent, develop expression and enhance communication."

WHAT WE DO

"Established in 2008, GloCAP partners with local organizations and teaching artists to co-create 2-3 week visual art and dance workshops culminating in an exhibition, performance and community-wide celebration. "

GLOBAL IMPACT

"GloCAP has worked with children since 2008 in eight countries, and touched the lives of thousands of young people. In 2024-25 GloCAP will have worked with 800+ children in Thailand, Turkey, Chad and Bali."
